Okay, so I just recently began stretching my ears...... I'm now at a 12g.
I've just been keeping the steel tapers in as "jewelry"....and someone told me thats not okay??! I figure...why would I spend $ 6-$ 12 a pair if I'm only gonna have them in for a week or two?!?
Is it okay that I'm just keeping the tapers in between stretches....atleast up until i get to bigger sizes....I'm thinking maybe to get a plug/jewelry set once i get

At times, or more often when I'm nervous, my ears gets pressure and "pops" then my hearing gets louder. It doesn't really hurt, it's become more of a habit to me, it started when I was very little. Pup is 9 weeks now... Got his first taping yesterday. The vet simply taped his ears... He didn't put a piece of foam, or a "stick" covered with tape to hold up the ear. He simply taped them with a bridge made out of tape in between both ears. It looks really solid since he put quite a few layers of tape and also shaped the ear into a "cone" which he secured with tape...
The vet is an older man and owns 2 Great Danes, which both have cropped

What's wrong with my cat's ears? She's miserable.?

I looked with an otoscope and 1 ear has a TINY bit of yellow, perhaps earwax in it. The other has brown stuff. The 1 that looks normal is the one she is rubbing.
She has watery eyes, no sneezing, her ears are lying to each side. She is miserable.
Last year the vet said that she is allergic to fleas. I gave her Front Line today. (I always hold off during the winter, since she stays indoors when it's cold out.)
