What's wrong with my ear?

Question by Ellery: What's wrong with my ear?
I've had a cold for about a week now. My ears have been "blocked" and everything I hear is muffled, but today when I woke up (and just now when I blew my nose) my left ear "popped" and whenever I swallow or "clench" my ears I hear a loud wooshing noise. What's wrong with me? :(
