I had a totally nasty head cold 10 days ago. Then it seemed to go away. But all of a sudden I felt as though I had a "plugged ear". Everything in that ear sounded like it was underwater. Thinking it may have been a wax buildup, I tried to clear it out with some ear drops. When I saw a doctor, he said that it was NOT a wax buildup, but rather a sinus issue - congestion.
