Earache... Help?

About 4 days ago, I got water in my ear, which was uncomfortable, and kept me from hearing properly. I tried a number of home remedies, including a hair dryer set on low, jumping up and down, and putting a drop of alcohol in, but nothing helped. Then, I bought some of the "Swim-Ear" drops at walmart, and they seemed to be working, my hearing was improving, and I could no longer hear the "gurgling" sound of water moving in my ear.
